Hi, I’m Andrea Lomboy, founder of Seek and devoted Lifestyle & Wellness Coach and consultant. Life experience has brought me several other titles, from Navy veteran and business administrator to minister, health educator, and servant leader. I am also the navigator of a DNA discovery that turned my world upside down—and sparked my quest to start Seek.

Before Seek, I held an array of roles in business and academic settings: senior management analyst at the Office of the Surgeon General of the Army; learning design director, University of Miami/Ryder Trauma Center; VP, client engagement, Specialists on Call; Stroke Tele-education And Telemedicine Coordinator, University of Virginia (Department of Neurology); consultant, Lomboy Consulting; supervising associate, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young; and Senior Associate, Ernst & Young LLP.

My life’s work has been shaped by walking alongside others through seasons of change—those raw, uncertain moments when old ground gives way and something new begins to emerge. I’ve held space for transition, healing, and renewal—whether from military to civilian life, chronic illness to personal reinvention, or care-giving to career shifts. Through it all, I’ve learned that true transformation begins when we feel seen, safe, and supported.
 

For over 30 years, I’ve served my faith community with love and devotion. As an ordained minister since 2012, I continue to serve in that sacred capacity. I have also served my country with honor as a U.S. Naval Reservist and Hospital Corpsman First Class for over 18 years. My academic path reflects a lifelong commitment to learning and serving.

Making a DNA Discovery​

But perhaps the most life-defining lesson came three years ago when I experienced a personal revelation that shifted my world: a DNA discovery revealed that the man listed on my birth certificate was not my biological father. As a dual MPE (Misattributed Parentage Experience)/NPE (Not Parent Expected or Non-Paternal Event), I found myself on a journey of deep psychological and spiritual reckoning—navigating grief and loss, identity, forgiveness, and ultimately, healing. That experience did not break me; it refined me. And it gave me a new calling: to walk with others who find themselves standing at that same crossroad of truth, pain, and possibility.

Seek was born from this path—from years of serving others and from doing my own difficult, yet sacred, healing work. It is a space where faith, wellness, and personal growth come together. Where we honor your story, your strength, and your pace.
