What Spiritual Wellness Looks Like in Real Life

Spiritual wellness isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about staying open to the questions. It’s about cultivating a connection to something greater than yourself, whether that’s God, grace, love, or simply the deep wisdom within. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5) reminds us that clarity isn’t a prerequisite for faith.
Morning walks are my absolute favorite time of day. They’re where I spend quiet, intentional time with myself and with my Lord. I listen for His voice, His inspiration, and His grace. This rhythm has become essential to my spiritual growth and to grounding myself for the day ahead.
In real life, spiritual wellness might look like praying in the car. Crying on a morning walk. Lighting a candle before bed. It’s not performative—it’s deeply personal. It’s how you stay tethered when life feels like it’s drifting. Scripture echoes this gentle truth: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted” (Psalm 34:18), and “In quietness and trust is your strength” (Isaiah 30:15).
At Seek, I believe your spirit matters as much as your body and mind. And spiritual wellness is often the quiet foundation beneath emotional resilience. However you define your faith or practice, know this: you don’t have to be “certain” to be grounded. You just have to keep showing up. As the Apostle Paul writes, “For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7)—a reminder that showing up is often the most profound spiritual act of all. And when you do, “those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength” (Isaiah 40:31).
